It is designed to meet the specialization needs of professionals in the public and private sector, improving their performance in strategic planning processes for the creation or management of companies, as well as the design, implementation and evaluation of programs and projects intended to the solution of regional problems, under a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. |
The program consists of four semesters where the student will take four basic subjects, three seminars, four elective subjects and one subject for thesis preparation, during the last semester.

The program is developed based on three Lines of Generation and Application of Knowledge (LGAC), which are the following:
The use of business knowledge, skills and abilities is promoted to generate competitiveness in the different environments in which students and graduates participate, with a global approach to the company, which includes the identification of the lines of action that organizations can take to design your competitive strategy.
Study of the different components that affect regional development, including economic or social phenomena that occur in the region and that directly impact the quality of life of its inhabitants. The promotion of the process of social change, transformation and well-being in the country is promoted through the planning, allocation and control of natural resources in accordance with the economic, social and ecological criteria of sustainability.
Taking advantage of scientific knowledge as support for the development and adaptation of technology or for the application of engineering tools that allow the creation of new production processes, their optimization and the standardization of existing ones, under a systemic, sustainable and innovative approach. that promotes the creation and strengthening of companies and regional development.
Each LGAC establishes a series of optional subjects , which the student may take during each semester of the program, after choosing them together with their advisor, in accordance with the LGAC where the thesis topic is located.
